Your Privacy Choices

Last updated: 2026-06-22

1. Scope of this page

This page describes the privacy choices available to California residents who interact with the Scouti marketing site or sign in to the Scouti dashboard. For a complete description of how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

If you are interacting with a chat widget on someone else's site, the team that runs that site is the "business" responsible for that conversation under California law. Please direct California privacy requests to them in the first instance; we will assist them in honoring your request.

2. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Scouti does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no opt-out for you to exercise because no such activity takes place. We list this commitment explicitly because California law requires us to surface it on a clearly labeled page even when our answer is "we don't."

3. Sensitive Personal Information

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing the Service that you (or your organization) requested. You therefore do not need to invoke the "Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information" right separately — our default behavior already matches the limit.

4. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Our marketing site and dashboard recognize the Global Privacy Control browser signal. Because we do not sell or share personal information by default, an incoming GPC signal simply confirms our existing behavior; we do not change anything in response, and we do not record the signal against your account.

5. Other California privacy rights

Depending on your relationship with Scouti, you may have the right to:

6. How to submit a request

To exercise any of the rights above, email hello@scouti.chat from the address on your Scouti account, or otherwise demonstrate that you are the consumer whose data is being requested. We will respond within the 45-day window required by California law, and may extend by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you.

Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proof of authorization that satisfies Cal. Civ. Code §1798.140(d).

7. Categories of personal information we collect

For California residents, the categories of personal information we have collected in the past 12 months are: identifiers (email, account id), commercial information (subscription history, billing events), internet activity (browser, device, IP), and inferences (usage patterns derived from dashboard activity). Categories of sources, purposes, and third-party recipients are listed in our Privacy Policy.
